A PUBLIC MEETING.
■ The Unemployment Committee 6f the Trades and Labour Council advertise a public mass meeting for Sunday in the Queen's Theatre, at 8 p.m. The object of the~"meeting is to make a public protest against the Government rates of 9s and 12s per day on relief works. The meeting will be presided over by Mr. A. Cook, president of the New Zealand Alliance of Labour, and the speakers will be Mr. W. Bromley, Mr. P. Fraser, Mr. J. Eoberts, and Mr. "R. Semple.
