BOOKS ON DOMINIONS . USE IN BRITISH SCHOOLS Australian Press Association—United Service. (Received 25th May, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 24th May. In the House of Commons, Mr. H. C. Haslam (C.) asked the President of The Board of Education if he was aware that some of the text-books, on the Dominions used in the schools were not up to date, and whether he would consider calling a conference of educational authorities with a view to securing an improvement. The President, Lord Eustace Percy, replied that the board's consultative committee was investigating the question. He thought it better to await. the committee's report, which was expected to be available in the autumn, before considering what action to take.;
