COUNTY CHAIRMEN
(By Telegraph.-J?ress Association.) WOODVILLE, ,23rd May. At the statutory meeting to-day, Mr. M. O. Grainger: was unanimously reelected chairman of the County Council. ASHBURTON, 23rd May. After the drawing of lots Mr. James Carr .was declared elected as chairman of the Ashburton County Council. GREYMOUTH, 23rd May; Mr. A. Robinson has been elected chairman of the Grey County Council unopposed. HOKITIKA, 23rd May. Mr. Elisha Wells has been elected Westland County chairman.
