SATURDAY'S EVENTS
ROWING, TENNIS, AND BOXING The University tourney, in which the four colleges are in competition for the twenty-fourth ' time, attracted a large amount of attention on Saturday. The outdoor events were unfortunately marred J>y the rain. The boxing shield, was won by Otago, Bnd in the eight-oar rowing race Victoria College beat Auckland. The tennis tournament, commenced on Saturday, will be continued to-morrow. Wellington and Auckland have an uncompleted cricket tnatch in hand.
