INTER-HOUSE MATCH
\ -Teams representing Messrs. Coulls, Soramerville, and Wilkie's Wellington ' and Christehurch houses met at Lyall Bay during the holidays, Wellington winning by 41 runs. Some interesting cricket was witnessed during the progress of the match, Williamson in Wellington's first innings making 79 during a line display, scoring all round the wicket, particularly on the leg side. Wellington went very cheaply in the second innings, there being six "ducks" in a small total of 32 runs, Harper taking three wdeketa for 22 runs and Cummins two for 0.
