AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND INVESTMENT, LTD.
Mr. C. L. Wilson, managing director of Australian and New Zealand Investments, Ltd., writing to the "Sydney Morning Herald" under date 29th March, states:— "hi your issue of 20th inst, noticing the bond issue of the above company, you say that the following information would be of interest to intending investors: —'It is not stated whether this amount (£20,-000 capital) is authorised capital, subscribed or paid up, nor how the conip: v proposes to reimburse itself for the work it docs, nor how is derived interest to be paid on the bonds prior to the profit earning stage.' We have pleasure in supplying this information and trust that you will in due course make it available to your readers. Tlic nominal capital of the company is £20,000, all of which is issued and taken up, except £2000 approximately. So jar calls have been made to 10s per share. The 'company is reimbursed for the lTork it docs from the proceeds of bonds sold. Interest is paid by the company from its own funds, together with the return on the reinvestment of bond capital pending its distribution in the property development work." The "Herald" remarks: "It would be of further interest to those contemplating taking up bonds were they informed what is the amount of reimbursement for the company per bond."
