NEW JERSEY HEADQUARTERS.
The New Zealand Jersey Cattle Brcecrrs' Association has purchased a central-ly-situated section in Palmerstcin .North, with a frontage of 33ft, and a depth ot o chain?. A contract has been let for the erection of a handsome three-story concrete building on the .section, at a cost of £8441. The "found floor has been let for a period of ten years; the second floor comprises a number of unices for letting, and the top lloor will provide ample accommodation for the association 6_ otlu-es and absolute protection against fire lor their invaluable records. The association now numbers 1700 members, it claims that there are more pedigree Jersey cattle in New Zealand than cattle of all the other dairy breeds added together; also that with a membership of over 1700, our society is the largest Jersey cattle association in the world."
