Salmon, 8.M., at tho Lower Hutt Magistrato's Court yesterday, for allowing a can containing stalo milk, and likely to ondanger tho purity of tho milk for sale, to remain within tho milk-house, £2 for failing to coat tho cowshed with a. linio wash; and £1 for not swooping out tho shed immediately af tor milking.Mr. W. Wilson, Inspector of Factories, who prosecuted, stated that tho defondants had caused a considerable amount of trouble and had failed to observo tho regulations oven though ropeatedly warned. Mr. Barrett 'contended that tho offences, if committed, woro of a trivial nature. Tho shed had sinco been whitewashed, and the inspector had found the shod unswept only bocauso ho had callod immediately after milking.
