The I'orbury Park Trotting Club's Summer Meeting was opened tp-tlay in flue, warm weather and on a fast track. There was a large attendance. The totalisator handled £25,866 10s, compared with £25,427 for the first day last year. With a lap to go, Conclitt went past the leaders with a great burst of speed, and was followed into the straight by Bonny Logan, St. Maura, and Machine Gun. In tho run homo Concliff held the advantage, to win decisively by three lengths from Bonny Logan, who beat Machine Gun by a. short length. Then came St. Maura and the favourite.
