In the singles, Hopman beat Rowe, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2; Hawkes beat Moon, 6-3, 6-2, 6-1; Cummings v. Kalms, 6-1, 5-7, 6-8 (unfinished). In the doubles, Hawkes and O'Hara Wood beat Patterson and Hopman, 6-2, 6-8, 6-3, 6-3.
