Miss Elisabeth Scott, aged 29,'' "has been chosen as the architect for the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre at Stratford-on-Avon, replacing the theatre which was burned in 1926. There were seventy-two competitors. Miss Scott's design is described as bold and splendid, taking full advantage of the beautiful site.on the banks of the Avon. - •
