EASTBOURNE PARISH HALL.
Saturday, 17th December, will be a redletter day in the history of the Church of. England, Kastbournq, fov it will see the fructification of years of patient elTort when the first portion of the new Parish Hall is opened by the Yon. Archdeacon A. M. Johnson, JNI.A. The building, which will be used principally for Sunday school work and parochial entertainments, is a handsome structure of brick, built to the design of Messrs. Crichton, Jt'Kay. and llaughton on a free treatment of Tudor architecture. Internally the hail is "finished with plain brick walls distempered above a plain brick dado, while the eeilirics are of fibrous plaster. Ample lighting ai~ ventilation iti obtained through windows placed low down in the side walls, and "artificial- lighting is supplied by electricity. It is intended, when funds permit, to complete the hall by the erection of a suitable stage, dressing rooms, and kitchen.
