LEAGUE DELEGATE RESIGNS
PARIS, 9th August. M. de Jouvonel has sent a letter to M. Briand, resigning his appointment as Prance's League Council delegate, because the French Government dia not submit to the League problems which he considered were only solvable by the League,.
M. Briand, replying, points out that it is not always advisable to appear to the League over the heads of interested parties where it is possible to settle international disputes by normal processes of diplomacy.
