SYDNEY, This Day. Owing to the expense of spinning at night time, when only men could be employed, Bond's hosiery mills are discharging 112 men, representing the whole of the night shift. The management states that women spinners and weavers become so skilful that they could perform all the work the company could carry at present, and the night shift, therefore, was not necessary. , .
