CELEBRITY VAUDEVILLE.

The J. C. Williamson Celebrity Vaudeville opens at the Grand Opera House with a matinee performance on Saturda}-. Variety is the keynote 'of this combination, which' has proved a success in Auckland. Among the ten acts Is Included Joseph Belmont's Canary Opera. It was a success with tho Ziegfeld Follies. Belmont has trained about twenty little songsters to whistlo singly and in chorus when and where he tells them, and to follow, note for note, vocal and instrumental music. Then there is Dick Henderson. Ho is an English comedian, and has appeared by Royal command. Rich and Adair will present another act that is a novelty. Phil Rich's partner is described as beautiful. An act that will charm is that of Marie Lawton, tho little lady with the harp and the mellow voice. lids Zgiiks. FrcrcSj direct from J*<iris, presents "Something Different in Dancing." The Spanish trapeze artist, Valencia, does some unusual feats. Tho Leo Sisters, "Up in tho Air,*' have a good offering, and Colin Crane, a baritone, sings songs that please. Stella Lamonde, a soubrette, sings popular numbers. Great interest is being taken In the canary and joke contests being conducted In connection with tho Canary Opera and Dick Henderson.
