WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD

Tho monthly meeting of the "Wellington Harbour Board was held last ovening, Mr. J. G. Cobbo presiding. Thero. were also present: Captains C. F. Post, F. A. M'lndoe, and C. M'Arthur, and Messrs. C. H. Chapman, D. J. M'Gowan, C. J. B. Norwood, J. G. Harkness, T. R. Barrer, T. Moss, G. Mitchell, and C. M. Turrell.

[ On the- recommendation of tho Wharves and Accounts Committee, it was decided that the public drawing of eighty-five £100 debentures of the board's £850,000 consolidated loan for redemption by the Commissioners of Sinking Fund on 28th February, 1928, should take placo at the board's offices at noon on sth Soptotabcr. The Hon. T. S. Weston was appointed to act as notary public at the drawing. In connection with the extension of pTory street, it was decided to agree to tho splaying of tho corners of sections 12 and 13, Cable street, so long as all expenses were paid by tho City Council.
