KB- Bo?^ h- Cllndy converted eiglit of these, and kicked a penalty iroal scoring 22 pointa in all. Pelham and Kenc scored for the Maoris, and Potaka converted one and kicked a penalty goal Wairarapa scored 11 "points in the first ten minutes o£ the game, and the first spell ended with the score 34 points to G in the home team's favour. The play was more even in the second spell, and for a time the Maoris held their own. Towards the end, however, Wairarapa again scored frequently. There were many spectacular incidents.
