THEFTS FROM SHOP
Two charges of breaking and enter* ing and theft were admitted by WiK liam Henry Cox, alias Smith, a lab. ' ourer, aged 57, who appeared before Mr. * E. Page, S.M., in the Magistrate* Court to-day. The first offence took place in May; and the second only last week. In each case the accused broke the plate-glass window of Mr. David Davis V shop at 126, Taranaki street, and took a quantity of goods. The articles stolen included spectacles, suits, an accordeoii/ and field glasses, and their total vain* was £11 8s 6d.
