The following officers were elected unopposed:—Treasurer, B. Cooley. Trustees, W. Currie, F. O. Martin, N. M'Ewen. Coal workers' delegates: D. Betts, T. Pearce. Slip workers: W. Heenan.
There is a small return to come from the Foxton Union (which is a branch of the Wellington organisation) that can reverse the position of A. G. Lindsay and T. Napier for the local disputes committee, as there are three to be elected, but cannot affect the result in any of the other issues.
The ballot was conducted under the preferential system of voting, Mr. R. J? Seal officiating as returning officer, assisted by Messrs. T. P. Williams, F-. Feehan, and R. Campbell as scrutineers.
