TRAINING SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS.
During the winter months it is the practice of the Sunday School Union to arrange some kind of training for the teachers of the city and suburbs. This winter the union; in conjunction with the Presbyterian Sunday School Teachers' Association, has arranged for a "series of eight meetings. A preliminary meeting held last, evening was well attended^ Mr. J. Caughley, M.A., addressed, the meeting, and gave an outline of the form the classes would take., There are _to,Jje three divisions for teachers, of senior, intermediate, and primary, scholars. Each division will be under a-competent leader, selected by Mr; Caughley; who superintend all the classes. Already i 54 teachers have signified their-, intention/to i'attend.
