SLIP IN TAITA GORGE
ROAD COMPLETELY BLOCKED
A big slip has fallen in the Taita Ororge, on the city side of George's Bridge, and all vehicular traffic is stopped. Bus services are being maintained from each side of the slip, which is of such dimensions that it will take a considerable time to remove it. The slip camo down about 11.45 this morning. A lorry being driven towards town was within a few yards of tho slip when the earth came down. The debris which stretches completely across the road, is about 15 feet in width.
