TUCKER'S CLUB HOTEL.
Visitors to Tucker's Club Hotel at Palmerston North always appreciate the many improvements that are made from time to time, and the proprietors of this popular hotel arc constantly adding to the comfortable surroundings. Tho downstairs lounge hus undergone a remodelling recently. Handsome swing doors, ornamented by hand carved figures give direct access to tho commercial room and ladies' lounge. Thus the three compartments can bo thrown into one ivhcn desired, and will givo a space ■of 90ft. by 23ft. The furnishing of this magnificent loungo comprises fine old antique furniture, while the brass and bronzeware plaques and vases aro rare and expensive enough to remind one of bygone ages. Tho hotel, with its wealth of gardous, playing areas, private lockup garages, fine new sample rooms, and its undisputed superiority in meals, and accommodation, makes it an ideal place to stay at.
