F. Mackenzie, Licensed Surveyor, and numbered S.O. 2192, being thereon coloured green. 2. To amend Section. 3 of the Wellington City and Suburban Highway*- Construction and Hutt Road "Amendment Act, 1924, so as to provide a new personnel for the Wellington City and Suburban Highways Board of Control. . 2. To amend Section 7 of the said Act to provide as follows:— • (1) To enable the City Council to widen the bitumen construction on the Hutt road and to construct a new cycle track and footway on such road. (2) To for the reduction of contributions of local authorities in respect of main highways, to give power to revest roads and streets temporarily in local authorities, to provide for the patrolling of roade and streets subject to the said Act, and to enable the Wellington City Council to make bylaws as to speed of traflic on such roads and streets. 3. To amend Section 8 of the said Act so as to extend the borrowing powers under the said Act by the sum of £100,000 and to enable the Wellington City Council to make temporary advances for the purposa of the said Act as proposed to be amended by' this Bill' from District Fund. ■ . • 4. To repeal Section (33 of tho Local Legislation Act, 1926. . ■.
