"jaOTICE IS .HEREBY GIVEN that ~' pursuant to and in exercise o£ the powers conferred on. it by the Counties Act, 1920, and Eating Act, 1925, and Amendments, and by all other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Hutt County Council intends at a Meeting of the Coun- | oil, to be held in. the County Chambers, 68, Lambton quay, Wellington, on Ist July, 1937, to make and levy the following rates'for theperiod commencing Ist April, 1927, and ending 31st.March, 102 S. GENERAL RATE. A General Rate under section 120 of the Counties Act, 1920, on the Capital Value of all rateable property in each Ridiug of the County as follows: — In the Epuni Riding, which forms part of the outlying district of the said County, a rate of one penny and forty-nine hundredths of one penny in the Pound (£). In the Heretaunga Riding, "which forms part of the outlying district of the said County, a rate of one penny and thirty-six hundredths of one penny in the Pound (£). In the Horokiwi Riding, which forms part • of the outlying district of the oaid County, a rate of one penny and fiftysix hundredths of one penny in the Ponpd (£). In the Mangarqa Riding, which forms part ■ of the outlying district of the said County, a rate of one penny and fifty hundredths of one penny in the Pound (.£). Inthe Taupo Riding, which forms part of the outlying district of the soid County, a rate of one penny and fifty hundredths of one penny in the Pound In the Wainuiomata Riding, which forms part of the outlying district of the said County, a rate of one penny and thiriyeight hundredths of one penny in the Pound (£}. k In the Whareroa Riding, which forms ! part of the outlying district of the said f County, a rate of (One penny and fifty hundredths of one penny in the '•■■•. A rate.'under the provisions of section .52 of the /Hospital and- Charitable Institutions Act,.1926,'0f thirty-six hundredths .of one penny in -the'-Pound on the Capital Value of all rateable, property in the County of Hutt; such rate being required to meet contributions payable by thp Council to .the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, ■ ; .■ ' : '. WATER RATE. - A ; water. rate (domestic ■ supply) under -section 120 ;of .the■ -Reserves and Other Lands Disposal, and Public Bodies Empowering Act,: 1917, ..of sixty-seven hundredths of. one penny in the-Pound ou the Capital. Value of all lands and buildings in the Number 13 Special Rating Area, Paekakariki, to whi-jh water is supplied. On lands and buildings to which water can be supplied, but is not supplied, situate within one hundred yards of any part of the ; Water Works, then half of the rate above-mentioned. SEPARATE RATE. j A separate rate under Paragraph 2 and section 171 of the Counties Act; 1920, of nineteen one hundredths of one penny in the Pound on the Capital' Value of all Rateable property in the Raumati Drainage District for the maintenance of. the [ existing drains in. the said area. '.'. . DRAINAGE RATE. A drainage, rate under Paragraph 2, section 167, of the Counties Act, 1920, for the purpose of maintenance of the drains m the Wainuiomata Drainage District and j in the proportions as follows:— I On all lands classified as A in the Waiuuiomata Drainage District a rate of seventy-four one hundredths of one penny in the Pound (£) on the' Capital Value of the Rateable property thereof. On all lands classified as B in the Wainuiomata Drainage District a rate of _ fifty«ix one hundredths of one penny in the Pound (£) on the Capital Value of the rateable property thereof. . .;,.... -'.■■ SANITATION FEES. ' An annual sanitation fee under, section 123 of the Counties Act, 1920, of iwentyfour shillings on all properties having a building erected thereon in the Plimmerton. Sanitation Area. AND IT IS FURTHER NOTIFIED that all such rates and fees are payable in one sum on the 31st July, 1927, to the Collector of Rates at the Offices of the Hutt County Council, 08, Lambton quay, Wellington, and further that the Valuation Soil and the Wainuiomata Drainage District Classification List ore open for inspection between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the aforesaid Offices. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that bo much as. is requiredl of the annual recurring Spatial Rates numbered 0, 7, S 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16, 21, and 22 levied ou the Capital Value of all rateable property in the respective Special Rating Districts to provide for'the annual charges o£ the Loans of the same numbers are now due and payable at the aforesaid Offices.
