SOUTHERN PRODUCE.
The fowl -wheat market is reported very firm at 6s per bushel at Southern ports, f.0.b., mtcks extra. Onions, are not showing up in good quantity, and this notwithstanding the heavy crop; in fact, the crop is described as one of the biggest for years. Already it is said shipments from Australia have been arranged for. Advices
by. mail from Japan indicate that prices are- likely to be high, and recourse will have to be had to Californian onions. Prices at winch Red Dakota potatoe. ar« offering are £5 10. to £8 Ute per ton.
