SYDNEY, This Day. It is roportcd that a member of the University League team has received an offer of £1000 and'a handsome wceMy salary to' sign on with the Leeds Club, and several others have been approached on behalf of other English clubs. Some of them have turned down offers, and others are still considering them. A warning has' been uttered that tho Bugby Union is no less affected by the English residential qualification decision than-the League, and "that there is a likelihood of efforts being made to secure the best players amongst the team about to visit England for English clubs. .■.- .-■■•■•'■■
