The Irish Free State election progress returns show:— Government 24 National League 2 De Valera Party .. ...... 24 Sinn Fein 2 Labour. 11 Independents 5 Farmers . ■. 3 Nearly half the seats are filled. The' Government, Farmers, National League, and Labour support the Home Bule Treaty; the remainder oppose it. Military precautions continue in Dublin streets, crowds cheering the Bepubliean victories.
The present party strength, prior to the elections, in the Dail Eireann 3s given as follows:— Government 1..'..:. 1.....' G2 ' Anti-Treaty 47 Farmers 15 Labour 15 Independents 14 Total 153
