DE LUXE THEATRE.

"It" is being shown at the I)e Luxe Theatre. "It" is that personal magnetism which some people possess to a marked degree, and which is capable or drawing people to them, of whatever sex they may be. This impulse applies in particular to the opposite sex, and Elinor Glyn, who wrote the story, makes her theme more of sex problem than is perhaps necessary. Needless to say there is a hero and a heroine, and the . pair eventually win happiness. The picture is splendidly staged. Clara Bow takes the part of the heroine, and opposite her plays Antonio Moreno. The supporting pictures include a review and a comedy. Mr. Aarons, again presiding at the Wurlitzer organ, adopts a novel theme, improvising on "five discordant notes suggested by members of the audience. The large orchestra played a musical burlesque, "The Crazy Drummer." The overture is a fantasia from a collection of Gilbert and Sullivan's operas. "THE CHEERFUL FRAUD." Reginald Denny will commence laughter week at the De Luxe Theatre on Friday , next, at 8 o'clock, with a laughter matinee on Saturday at 2.30. "The Cheerful Fraud," Denny's latest and greatest comedy, will shake the very foundations of the theatre. It is one of the greatest laugh sensations of the*screen, and when you are promised that you will forget "Winter is Here,"when seeing "The Cheerful Fraud," something has indeed been accomplished. Mr. Emanuel Aarons, the organist, will further delight w;ith his masterly playing on the Wurlitzer. For this programme Mr. Aarons has chosen special numbers. In addition the Orchestra De Luxe, comprising 14 soloists, Trill render a special score. The demand for seats is heavy and patrons are urged to book seats without delay. The box plans are now open at the Bristol Piano Co., Aitken's Book Arcade, or ring theatre.
