Aelsonians generally ami fruit growers particularly, are greatly pleased with the success attending the shipments of apples oy the Horatius and Delphic. Prices obtained for these particular shipments indicate that the fruit has reached England in nrst-class condition, and offers great encouragement for future direct' shipment from Port Nelson.
At the recent meeting of the Nelson Farmers Union the followiug remit was approved: "That th.is conference approves ot the.principle of co-operative marketing of dairy produce, and has confidence in Messrs. Brown, Thacker, Bryant, and Uoodfellow.
