PAREMATA BOATING CLUB

The Paremata, Boating Club held the last race of the season during the week-end for the Trevor. Cup (ocean race). The course was from the clubhouse out around Mana Island, ana back to the starting point. Eight boats faced the starter under sealed handicaps, and started off in good time, the weather being most favourable. Handicaps ' were as follows:—Mr. M'Pherson's Miss Paremata, 9min, 1; Mr. Sannibles and Mr. Glossop 's Cygnet, lOmin, 2; Mr. Clark's Trbcie, ser, 3; Mr. E. O'Connor's Titania, 3min, 4; Mr. M'Keever's Moki, 6min, 5; Mr. Mann's Aurora, lOmin, 6. Mr. M'Kenzie's launch and Mr. Shearer's Eobert E. Leo did not finish.
