The Masterton Qolf Glub, was defeated by the- Napier Club this week-end, in a match'for the Wilson Clip, which the local club has held for four challenges since winning it from tfceWairarapa Club last year. Napier won by; eight matches to four. The course was almost unplayable, and the match was contested in a rainstorm.
The Legion of Frontiersmen is holding a dance this evening at the Heretaunga Hall, Petone.
