On Saturday the usual week)end social evening was held, there being'a very large number present. Songs,- games,. and instrumental items were indulged in, supper was served, and a very enjoyable evening brought to a-close at 10.30 o'clbclc;"-'; On Sunday betweeu fifty and sixty men sat down to the tea presided over by Mrs. A. Brown, and full justice was clone to the good things, provided. ■■ ;Qver 100 were present for the service at 7. p.m., and great attention was. paid. tQ .the, address by Mr. Jacobsen, - eleven men making the great decision at the conclusion. During the service a veryappropriate duet was rend* ered by Miss Auderson 1 arid -Mr*r Padnian. The Sailors' Hour from 8;30: was a. very inspiring time, the men choosing their own favourite "liymns. and singing with a zest that was good to listejito. The missiouer's Bible class on Tuesday, was well attended, arid a very profitable time spent. On Wednesday a concert was given by the men from the s.s. Mataroa and some of Miss Mildred -Kenny's pupils. This drew a crowded attendance, and eacli item was enjoyed to the uttermost. Encore after encore was demanded, and given. A hearty vote of thanks was proposed at the conclusion, and was carried with acclamation and cheers.' Supper was served arid a very happy evening brought to a close at 10.45 by-the singing of the National Anthem. Items were contributed by Mes> dames Gilchrist and E. Kenny,"'Misses M.
