JERSEY BREEDERS
*-, — (By Telegraph.—l'ress Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Ist June. The annual conference o£ the New Zealand Jersey Breeders' Associatiou today, the following council was elected: Wairarapa and East Coast, Mr. A. C. Lovelock; South Auckland, Sir. A. E. Missen. The following were returned unopposed: North Auckland, Mr. E. D. M'Lennan, M.P.; Nelson, Dr. Washburn. The .president announced that he and Mr. .E. C. J. Dermer had been appointed by the council to collaborate with the agricultural college authorities in founding the Jersey portion of the. herd at the college. Serious objection was taken by members at the appointment without reference to the annual meeting, but -the chairman refused to allow the matter to be reopened. It was decided to hold the n«xt annual .meeting at Ohristchurch.
