ADELAIDE, This Day. The Court of Disputed Returns has declared null and void the election of T. T. Thompson, Independent Labour caadidate for Port Adelaide district in the Assembly.

At the recent elections, Mr. Thompson defeated the sitting member, Mr. Condon, and the latter lodged a petition on the grounds that the result of the election was influenced by the issue of a cartoon by Thompson or his agents depicting that Condon held more than one job which was contrary to the platform of the Labour Party. It was also contended that the cartoon implied that Condon had given up honorary offices and retained paid ones, thus creating undue influence on the minds of the electors.
