REMOVAL OF MOTOR.CARS

' DTTNEDIN, This Day. "It ia almost a nightly occurrence to have reports about motor-cars being removed from parking-places," said the police, when Percy Delamore Loughrey and Francis Victor Hyder were charged with converting cars to their own use. Counsel said that the charges were; the result of a drunken escapade. : It was stated that one car. was damaged to- the extent of £18 as the result of a collision with another. The accused were remanded in custody till Monday for the probation officer's report.
