COAL-DUST EXPLOSION

(United Press Association.—Copyright.) NEW, YORK* 27th May. A message from Trinidad, Colorado, states that five men were killed in a coal-dust explosion which wrecked the entrance to a mine near there t%-day. A later message states that a two hun-dred-foot pillar of flame' which has burned since the explosion, was blown out with nitro-glycorine. The dead now total eight.
