COMPANIES DISPOSED TO SELL
Mr. T. C. Brash, secretary of the Dairy Produce Board, advises that v number of dairy companius are considering the question of soiling' their May and Juno outputs of butter at pricos varying from Is 3d upwards. He is of .the opinion that the final average prico realised in tho pool which represents* butter graded from Ist May to 30th October next will return o not uvcrage price considerably abovo this liguio, and the dairy companies would be well advised to act cautiously • in making sales. It has to be, borne in mind that in accordance with the board's policy, there will be no stocks of stored stale butter to go on to the market in the early spring, henco tho markot should be fairly sound for produco arriving then.
Mr. Pavibur-Smith, Wellington, received to-day tho following cablegram from London: New Zealand butter, loSs lo ICOsj cheese, S2s to Slis, quietly si each.
