LADS ON WHAKAKURA

AUCKLAND, This Day. The mine-sweeper Whakakura has returned to port after a week's cruise with a number of lads undergoing mili-J tary training. They shaped well at gun drill, and had an alarm of "Man overboard," with the result that a boat was manned within six minutes. The officers have nothing but commendation for t.ho lads.
