DANCING
The Wellington South branch ot the N.Zi.P. is holding the first o£ its Jazz dances in the Ncwtown Library Hall ou Tuesday, 17th May. The Al Starita Quartette Orchestra lias been engaged, and patrons nre assured of a pood night's enjoyment on an excellent floor.
The first semi-final of the £50 Fox Trot Competition, conducted by the Violet Jazz, is announced for to-night in the Early Settlers' Hall, Abel Smith street This event will take place at 0.30, when semi-finalists are asked to attend.. Harper's Orchestra will be in attendance, and a good night's enjoyment is promised.
