NORTHLAND SHOW
The autumn show of the Northland Cottage Garden Society was opened by the Hon. R. A. Wright (Minister cf Education) on Saturday.
The display of blooms was very fine indeed, the show of chrysanthemums being particularly so. The champion bloom in this class was exhibited by Mr. E. C. Gamble. Honours in the chrysanthemums were divided between Mr. S. H. Watkins and Mi-. W. Jacobson. The president's trophy-for most points was won by Mr. M'Kelvey. In the domestic section, Mrs. V. Platt secured most points. Mrs. Berneeh was the most successful exhibitor of dahlias.
