DUKE REFUSED A GAME

CHRISTCHURCH, This Bay. On Sunday His Koyal Highness the Duke of, York desired to have a game of. tennis on the Canterbury Tennis Association's courts at Wilding Park. .Sunday play ia against the association's rules, and when the Duke' N 's wish was communicated to the president, that'official refused to make an exception even for a Royal visitor. It is_ stated that no difficulty was found in getting private courts for His Royal Highness.
