YOUNG CYCLIST INJURED '

The danger of the practice of cyclists holding on to the back of motor-vehicles and free-wheeling was further demonstrated this morning, when a youth, William Hale, aged 16, received injuries which resulted in his admission to the Public Hospital. _ He was riding behind a lorry in Adelaide road just before 8 o'clock when the vehicle stopped suddenly, with the result that Hale received a gash on the throat. Several stitches had to be inserted. The youth,. who resides at 119, Hanson street, is .making satisfactory progress.
