A batch of 244 assisted immigrants from the Old Country, including eight public schoolboys and 25 domestics, will arrive by the steamer Ruapehu, which is due at Wellington late this afternoon. Seventysix of the new arrivals propose to settle down in Wellington and district. The distribution of,the draft is as follows:— •
