LONDON, 13 th March.
Presiding at a ..lecture, Lord Birkenhead declared that it was vital that
the Crown should be supplemented by one authoritative and dignified tribunal qualified to deal with all Empire subjects. The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council was an important factor in keeping alive the immense unity of' Empire. Ho forecasted that the proposals would shortly be made to supplement the Privy Council.
