'Tho Return of Peter Grimm," at the Regent, is a realistic film. Peter: Grimm is Hearing the end of a simple, kindly life as a famous nurseryman. In the beautiful old home are a boy and girl he has adopted who are thrown into consternation lvhen the _ old man announces that the trM Katie shall marry his son Frederick aml_ when he tearfully pleads for .Katie s consent to tho marriage she cannot refuse. Ten minutes after her consent, Peter passes away in a doze A hair sceptical compact with a friend, that the first to die ghall return to this world brings him back on the wedding eve and his eyes are opened to the tragedy Katie's promise is about to cause. Peter, as played by Aleo B. Francis, is a wonderfully lSvable study, and Janet Gaynor, as Katie, is alternately a charming girl and a wistful woman. A splendid pictorial Fox news and comedy are the supports; Yost ■ and Uady model wonderful faces m clay to cheery patter, and Matt DiWs Regent Orchestra supplies the excellent music.
