The results of the.matches played between senior and junior students of the Training College are as follow, tho senior players being mentioned first: — Men's singles M. R. Smith beat A. Ir•win, 94: E. Watts lost to R. Bradley, 9-8; H. Thomas, by default; V. Curry lost to R. Lyttle, 9-8; W. Vietmeyer beat I. Brenton-Rule, 9-0; K. Barling lost to Wileon, 9-2. Ladies' singles: Miss Whisker beat Miss Heane, 9-4; Miss Brown beat Miss Runnerstrum, 9-1; Miss Wapp beat Miss Grosyenor, 9-8; Miss Dewhurst beat Miss Reteineyer, 9-4; Miss M'Murray beat Miss Xiinde, 9-7; Miss Tregurtha beat Miss Sutherland, 9-4. Men's Doubles: Smith and Watts beat Bradley and Irwin, 9-8; Thomas and Curry beat Paul and Lyttle by default; Brenton Rule and Wilson lost to Vietmeyer and Barling, 9-7. Ladies' doubles: Misses Whisker and Brown beat Misses Keane and Runnerstrum, 9-8; Misses Wapp and Dewhurst beat Misses Grosyenor and Retemeyer, 9-7; Misses Murray and Tregurtha beat Misses Linde and Sutherland, 9-4. Combined doubles: Smith and Miss Whisker beat Bradley and Miss Keane, 9-7; Watts and Miss Brown boat Irwin , and Miss Runnerstrum, 9-2; Thomas and Miss Wapp won by default; Curry and Miss Dewhurst beat Lyttle and Miss Rete- ' ineyer, 9-8. The seniors won by 19 matches to 3.
