HARBOUR RACE

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 13th March. The annual harbour race from Northcote Wharf to Shelly Beach Baths was held under the auspices of the Ponsonby Ama teur Swimming and Life-saving Club yes terday. There was a very light breeze. Of the 43 competitors who faced the starter seven were ladies, all of whom finished. The result of the race was:—Miss Minnie Jepson (Otago) (4min 30sec), 28 mm 55sec, I; Miss Jean Bell (Auckland) (4min 30sec), 29min lOsec, 2; C. R. Watson (2min 30sec), 27min lOsec, 3; K. Keith (Bmin 30sec), 35min, 4; R. J. Webster (scr), 27min 36sec, 5; R. de Loree (Imin 30sec), 29min 42sec, 6; W. Foster (omin 30sec), 34min lOsec, 7; Miss G. Pidgeon (4min), 38min 37sec, 8. All except four of the big number who started finished, the last man getting home at 4.20 n.m.
