Simpson, 2 firsts, 1 seconds: Mrs. G. Gordon, R. S. Dixon, Mrs. G. V. E. Frazer, Mrs. G. Munroe, Catherine Connor, 1 first ouch; Miss Battersby, Mrs. K. Mac Donald, Arthur MacDonald, 1 second each. Vegetables: C. H. Beggs, G firsts, 3 seconds: Mrs. A. Sirett, 4 firsts, 3 seconds; G. Nash, 3 firsts, 6 seconds M. M. Simpson, 3 firsts; E. G. The trophies were awarded as under:— Mr. Salon's trophy for best decorated basket: Mrs. Munroe. Flower trophy: Miss Battersby, 1; Mrs. Sirett, 2. Vegetable trophy: Mr. Beggs, 1; Mr. Nash, 2. Home products trophy: Mrs. Mac Donald, 1; Mrs. Stanaway, 2. Decorative class trophy: Mrs. Munroo (who also won the society's trophy). Novice class trophy: Mrs. M. M. Simpson. Tho'opening ceremony was performed by the Mayor (Mr. C. J. B. Norwood), who wns accompanied by Mrs. Norwood. Mrs. Norwood was presented with a bouquet by Allan Simpson, youngest son o£ the society's president.
