GOOD PERFORMANCES
NEW SOUTH WALES MEETING (United Press Association.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, 12th March. The New South Wales amateur athletic meeting was held yesterday. In the 880 yards, R. Norman won by two yards in lmin 56 4-ssee, equal to the State record. In the junior championships, T. Melville ran 220 yards in 23 4-ssec and 880 yards in 2min 5 2-ssec. Women's Championships.—Miss E. Robinson won the hundred yards in 12sec. Miss Maloney, in winning the high jump, cleared 4£t 6in. All four are State records. Generally the sport was high class and the performances "well up to the average.
