PALMERSTON CELEBRATIONS CONCLUDED YESTERDAY (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMEBSTON N., This Day. The curtain was rung down on the jubilee celebrations yesterday,when one thousand old identities, who had played an important part in the molding of the destinies 1 of the borough,'were feted by the Borough Council. The old folk congregated from all parts of the Dominion to renew old acquaintances. An impressive religious service was arranged exclusively for their benefit. The Rev. Mr. Comrie, the oldest Presbyterian minister in active service, officiated.

The Hon. A. D. M'Leod, Minister of Lands, was present and delivered a short address in the afternoon.
